Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to meditation, you’ll get a lot out of this class. This course is all about empowering you with a robust meditation toolkit, a clear and confident understanding of mindfulness, and a roadmap for developing and deepening your daily habit of mindfulness on and off the cushion. You will learn to investigate the mind as an empowered explorer, befriending thoughts and emotions, and developing a personal toolkit of custom meditation techniques to meet your unique challenges and deeply enrich your life. This curriculum is based on the work of meditation teacher and neuroscience research consultant Shinzen Young, based on the Unified Mindfulness system, and is utilized in research by institutions such as Harvard Medical School and Carnegie Mellon University.
