A one-hour introductory course in mindfulness
In this one-hour introductory mindfulness class, we’ll investigate the mind as empowered, curious explorers of our inner worlds. We’ll first introduce a definition of mindful awareness based on the 3 attentional skills of concentration, sensory clarity, and equanimity. Then we’ll break down and investigate our sensory experience, exploring how we can shift our attention to tune into our present moment experience in unique ways. This session is about empowering you in your meditation practice by offering clear and tangible ways of understanding and implementing mindfulness practices.
